Cultural Heritage Preservation & presentation
The ancient archaeological sites at Mleiha, Jebel Al Buhais, Jebal Faya, and Jebal Emeileh comprise various archaeological features, spanning from the Palaeolithic to the late pre-Islamic ages. These comprise a great tourism destination potential with the scope of tourism and economic development opportunities. Seven archaeological sites carry serious challenges for the public. Due to the difficulties in imagining the original historic sites and archaeological sites, they face difficulties in hosting visitors because of the lack of visiting facilities. Therefore, the seven Mleiha archaeological sites preservation and presentation project adopts different design approaches using reversible interventions that maximize its valorization.

Nasser Museum
National Heritage Preservation & presentation
National Heritage Preservation & presentation
The Nasser Museum is a biographical museum located in the former residence of Egypt’s iconic president, Gamal Abdel Nasser. It serves as a vital cultural and historical institution dedicated to preserving and presenting Egypt’s national heritage through the lens of one of its most prominent leaders. The project aimed to honor Nasser’s legacy while making the space accessible and engaging to the public.
Support was provided to the lead architect during site visits, ensuring that the construction adhered closely to the design vision. The construction process was documented through photography, creating an invaluable archive for future reference. During the exhibit design and installation phase, museum graphics and objects were meticulously arranged to enhance the visual and educational impact of the exhibits.
This careful approach mirrors the reversible interventions often used in archaeological preservation, balancing the need to respect the historic significance of the site while creating an engaging and modern visitor experience. The result is a museum that serves both as a tribute to Egypt’s history and as an educational resource for future generations.

Obstetrics and Gynaecology Medical Museum
The Naguib Pasha Mahfouz Museum, located at Kasr El Ainy Medical School, was originally inaugurated in 1932 and underwent renovation in 2018. The museum houses a unique collection of obstetrical and gynecological specimens of significant scientific value.
In this project, the lead architect was assisted during the tight project timeline to realize the overall vision. Early site visits and coordination efforts were conducted, and active participation was involved in these stages. During the exhibit design and installation phase, the careful placement of medical specimens and exhibition materials was ensured, so they could be presented in an accessible and educational manner for both medical professionals and the general public.
