Technical design of a traditional restaurant
In 2016 as Naya Lab began as a start-up architectural design studio based in Cairo, I established a cooperation with them as to cover the technical design part of their innovative projects. The cooperation lasted until 2021 as we have worked closely together on a decent number of projects most of which are already realized and working in Cairo. The projects varied a lot from residential, commercial, business, and offices in addition to food and beverage spaces.
Zooba Corner is one of the projects where I designed the structure and the construction techniques that suit the proposed design and function. The project was designed using computational design methodology and fabricated by traditional techniques at the construction site in Cairo, Egypt.
